| We are very proud to announce that we are currently undertaking the restoration / preservation of this magnificent warhorse. With the help of painstaking research into photo’s and Bentley motors archives we are going to make the car just as it was the day it raced at Le Mans. The new custodian is intent on preserving the car thoroughly in order to insure its survival for another 75 years and with the help of his enthusiasm will allow us to produce what will be the most correct and original Speed Six, factory built Le Man car available to view. |

Take a 1928 Salmson rolling chassis and a 1928 nine-cylinder radial aircraft engine, circa 1928 and produce a hill climb special. The engine has now been completed and will probably be the only runner in the world. This project has been great fun and is a display of the sort of projects that can be undertaken today, ending in a one of vintage race car which should be great fun.
It is also quite a technical engineering problem and has therefore been great fun for us. |
